1. Mr Blair has lost our trust
Did he tell us a pack of lies about Iraq? Where are the WMD in Iraq? Was the 45 minute threat ever real? The truth is that Blair had decided to support the US no matter what the evidence was of Iraq being a threat to the UK.
2. He sanctioned a war of questionable legality
Bush and Blair’s invasion of Iraq has resulted in the deaths of about 70,000 - 100,000 Iraqis so far. The Secretary-General of the UN, Kofi Annan, has declared this war illegal. Even our own Attorney General had serious misgivings about its legality, and only changed his mind a few days before we went to war.
3. He has become a liability (and not just to the Labour Party)
He has made this country a more dangerous place to live. Due to our invasion of Iraq, we are now much more vulnerable to terrorist attacks, both at home and when travelling abroad. That's why he's paranoid about terrorist attacks. His removal from power will reduce this risk for all of us.
4. Tony Blair has betrayed Labour Voters
He supports the on-going privatisation of the NHS, private funding of roads and railways, and is introducing university top-up fees. Also, he is 100% behind George W. Bush, arguably the most rightwing president in American history. So what happened to Labour policies in return for Labour votes?
5. He has stopped listening
Over the years power and wealth have corrupted him. He makes unilateral decisions without listening to the arguments because he always believes that he is right. This kind of behaviour has cost us some of our civil liberties.
6. He is past his 'sell-by-date'
Blair’s been Prime Minister for too long. Like Thatcher before him, over the years he has lost touch and become deluded into believing that he is the only person capable of leading Britain effectively. He is wrong.
IT'S TIME TO CHANGE THE FACE OF BRITISH POLITICS
